SKULLS

Skulls can have many meanings but it’s overly simplistic to only see them as a morbid symbol that warns to stay away from a hazardous material or person. Instead, let’s dig a little deeper. They can be used as a symbol of shedding an old way of life and changing for the better. Skulls can also be a symbol of mentally “conquering” death. When we look our own morality in the eye, acknowledge it  and are reminded of its inevitability, we are simultaneously reminded to live in a way that we are actually stoked about. What’s more rock n roll than conquering death? Hah! Skulls should be an optimistic symbol, not a morbid one. Wear them as a reminder that life is fleeting, so forget about the artificial aspects of society and live your life genuinely. Live, create and rock without fear!
